Random Acts Of Kindness
Beyond providing weekly meals to our partner schools, Fuel for Thought is giving back through RAOK — our Random Acts of Kindness initiative bringing community service projects to life across South Africa. See our latest projects below:
Empowering Young Girls
We recently visited the young girls of St George’s Home for Girls, a registered Child and Youth Care Center and the only residential facility in the Wynberg District providing care for girls aged 3 to 18. The home supports children who have been abused, abandoned, neglected, or orphaned, as well as those from failed foster placements, those facing behavioral challenges, and children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS.

As part of our visit, we delivered feminine and hygiene products to ensure that each girl has access to the essential items she needs to feel comfortable, confident, and cared for.

Fueling Local Athletes
We celebrated the role of sport in bringing communities together by fueling athletes at a local youth soccer tournament!
We delivered fresh orange slices, sports drinks, and protein bars to both teams, ensuring players had the energy and nutrition they needed to perform their best.
Providing School Supplies
In honor of World Humanitarian Day 2025, we provided school supplies to the students at Ottery Road Methodist Primary School.
Access to these essentials empowers learners to stay focused, engaged, and confident in the classroom — helping create equal opportunities for every child to reach their full potential.
